UKHO have made the decision to withdraw the Admiralty WebChart Service from sale with effect from 30.04.2011. After this point no new subscriptions will be available from Admiralty Distributors.

The UKHO is delighted to have innovated with this service, which has received positive feedback from its users. However with the launch of e-Navigator there is an opportunity to consolidate the infrastructure on which services are delivered and a strategic decision has been made to develop all future Admiralty services on a consistent infrastructure.

Any licences which run beyond 30th April 2011 will continue until expiry. At the point of expiry no renewal will be available and at the expiry of all the existing licences the service will be closed.

Provision of a web based service for on-shore users to view charts remains a target for the UKHO and we look forward to launching a new service at some point in the future.
