To create the Base and / or Update CD structure, we recommend using the ISO file as follows:
To download an ISO file – double-click to select the appropriate file.
Run your CD writing software – select the option to 'Burn Image to Disc' – select the downloaded ISO file and burn the CD. The CD will automatically be written with the correct Volume ID.
Depending on your CD writing software, it may be possible to double-click on the downloaded ISO file to invoke the software.
To create the Base and / or Update CD structure using a ZIP file:
If the requirement is to download a zip file for USB operation or for specific use: Double-click on the downloaded zip file. Select Extract from the WinZip window and extract the structure to a specified location. When creating a CD please ensure that you write the full contents of the extracted zip file to the root folder of the CD. Please check that you have inserted the correct Volume ID or label, in uppercase, as shown below. We will not accept liability for CDs created by you that have not been created or named correctly.

Note to user: Users of the ECDIS service can use the ARCS and AVCS base and / or update CDs.
Labels for base and update CDs
CD Label artwork is available in both PDF and EPS format for all Update CDs. Please note that the artwork is generic and that it will be the User's responsibility to add the appropriate week number and date to the label.
Select a file extension (.pdf or .eps) next to the disc you require, to download the related CD label artwork.
