Join us at Nor-Shipping 2011

After a very successful trip to Sea Asia 2011 in April, this month the UKHO team are back on the road for the second major shipping exhibition of 2011, Nor-Shipping.

We’ll be in Oslo from 24 – 27 May for a packed schedule of conferences, networking and meetings, and the team will be on hand to answer all your questions on your transition to digital navigation.

In addition to our main stand (Hall B, B04-14), we’re excited to be hosting a series of seminars and workshops in our own seminar suite, which you’ll find just by the main entrance to Nor-Shipping.

There are two key sessions to attend, running Tuesday to Thursday. Firstly, Dean van Leeuwen, co-founder of TomorrowToday will be hosting his presentation entitled ‘TIDES of Change’. Debuted at Sea Asia, the ‘TIDES’ seminar offers some thought-provoking material on the evolving world of technology and business, and the global trends which drive business change. The session is designed to provide the inspiration to meet the challenges the shipping industry faces, and the motivation to grasp the opportunity at hand.

In addition, our Admiralty experts will be hosting daily interactive discussions on the transition to digital navigation. So if you have any questions on rolling-out ECDIS and how voyage optimisation might support your fleet or equipping crew with the right training, then this session is one not to miss.

You can sign up for both sessions here

Back on the main stand, you’ll find hands-on demonstrations of both paper and digital navigation products, from the latest paper charts to e-Navigator, our access point to everything Admiralty, and Admiralty Vector Chart Service (AVCS).

We’ll also have an award-winning barista on the stand too, serving up fresh coffee every day. So whether it’s on our stand or at our seminar suite, we hope to see you there.
